Two Ways to Create with One Wooden Book Stack Set
One of my favorite things about having simple wooden blanks on hand is finding different ways to use them. And just because something comes as a set doesn’t mean you have to use the entire set together!
That’s exactly what I did with our 3-piece Wooden Book Stack Set. I used two of the books together to create a traditional fall book stack and then took the third book and turned it into a completely different piece of fall decor.
Same set. Two completely different projects!
A Cozy Fall Two-Book Stack
For the first project, I stacked two of the wooden books together and gave each one its own look using napkin decoupage.
I paired our Faux Burlap Napkin with two designs from the Feels Like Fall Napkin Bundle. I love how the different patterns work together while still giving each part of the stack a little personality of its own.
I finished it off with some autumn ribbon and just a touch of faux fall greenery. It’s the perfect size to tuck onto a shelf, add to a tiered tray or work into a fall vignette.

One Book, A Completely Different Look
Instead of adding that third book to the stack, I decided to use it all by itself.
For this one, I used two napkins from our Autumn Elegance Napkin Bundle and added one of the designs to a Layering Rectangle before attaching it to the book. That extra layer added just enough dimension to completely change the look of the blank.
I finished it with fall gingham ribbon, raffia and a little faux fall greenery.
