Hi! I'm Laura. In 2016, I started with a passion for DIY and decorating that amazingly turned into a business. I could never have imagined that what started out as hobbies would bring so much joy. In 2023, I began a health journey that blossomed into a second passion for health and wellness. I love sharing BOTH of my passions and hope it inspires you to nurture your creative side and/or to be inspired to strive for a healthy lifestyle. Whether it's being creative with small crafts, going big with a home project, putting your own spin on your home decor or taking the first step towards your own health, the possibilities are endless when you just believe in yourself!

What I Love.
Aside from my family, my faith and my furry pooch (Lucky), my true passion with regards to home matters is the satisfaction of spreading my creative wings and being part of the transformation process from before to after. Whether it is painting my front porch floor or hanging peel-and-stick wallpaper, or refinishing a piece of furniture, or decorating my beloved dining room table, I love making my house our home and doing most of the work with my own hands. More than that, I LOVE helping others to transform in their health!
How it All Started.
As a former teacher, I knew when I had children, I wanted to be able to stay home with them as long as possible. After the birth of my first child in 2004, that meant I had to find ways to save money and get creative! Then, my second two children came along, and I found myself elbow deep in craft projects and all things D-I-Y. Eventually, I inherited two reclining tufted chairs and decided, after many hours watching YouTube videos while waiting for my daughter at the dance studio, to try re-covering them myself. The next thing I knew, I had people asking me to do big projects for them and, since I also enjoyed organizing, making wreaths and wooden signs, and making older furniture look beautiful again, a business was born in 2014 and it seemed only fitting to name it MY HOME MATTERS. Now, all three of my children are either graduated or only have a couple of years left in high school and I've been able to focus more on my own health. I developed a love of all things health with my own transformation of losing 30lbs in 2023. That sparked the desire to pay it forward to help others in their health and that meant having to make some tough decisions on what I wanted to do. Ultimately, a NEW business was born that allows me to bring both of my passions under one roof. That is how Laura Kleber Home & Health came to be.
