While I have not updated the album in quite a while, I do have many many more projects that can be viewed inside this Facebook album called Portfolio of Wooden Signs and Wall Art.
I'm going to show you lots of personalized gifts that include names and dates. However, that is not the only way to show thought! So let's get started.
How about a round sign? These can be done in 15, 18 or 24-inches and OH MY GOODNESS, I have done so many of these!

Okay, so round isn't your thing? How about giving the gift of personalization with a planked sign?

Keep in mind that gifts of personalization do not have to actually have names and dates. While I (along with my team) do a ton of those, there are plenty of sayings that people love - they, too, make great personalized gifts! Bible verses, lyrics from songs, or even something like this Irish blessing can show that you put some serious thought into giving a gift that can last a lifetime.

Maybe a custom tray? They come in both round and planked, smaller and larger...
Round trays look great as a table centerpiece, on a coffee table, or even propped up in an easel. Set one on a guest bed for a welcoming feel! I've even done several that have served as a wedding "guest book."

Perhaps something simpler can be your gift of personalization this year - a single board can be a beautiful gift - framed or unframed!

I am in love with our newest items! These farmhouse shelf signs look great in an entry, mudroom, kitchen, laundry, bathroom...somebody stop me!
These make great housewarming or wedding gifts and, once again, they do not need to have a name to be considered a gift of personalization!

I could go on forever but I think I will close with our farmhouse clocks...oh, goodness I love these so much, too (insert bias)!

I hope that gives you some ideas for giving the gift of personalization this holiday season! And, if you'd prefer to create one of our kits yourself, you can learn how to create a white washed effect in last week's post or stain your background whatever color you'd like!

Laura, I have a log from an Apple tree that was taken down from our children’s grandparents yard. It is possible for you to use our wood and make it a circle with one of your samples above Such as the “E” with overlapping Espy. I wanted the the parents names on the top of circle & their two boys on the bottom with thrust last name initial and name in middle. In a darker stain? It’s important to be on the apple tree wood we have for sentimental reasons. Please let me know if it’s possible and the cost. Thank you.
